Steven Weisberger, DO, is a board-certified, award-winning physician and the medical director at Northwest Winds Recovery in Bangor, Maine. He has a special interest in addiction medicine. Dr. Weisberger completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont in Burlington. He then attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, before completing an internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford and a family practice residency at Brighton Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Weisberger earned board certifications for family practice, a geriatrics certificate of added qualifications, and a medical review officer certification. Dr. Weisberger is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Integrative Pain Management, the Maine Osteopathic Association, and a diplomat of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice, among others. Dr. Weisberger enjoys golfing, woodworking, woodturning, and traveling when he’s not caring for patients.

Joyce Warren, LADC, CCS, is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and clinical director at Northwest Winds Recovery in Bangor, Maine. Joyce observes, evaluates, and helps modify human behavior as it relates to the harmful use or abuse of alcohol and drugs. Joyce completed a Master of Science program with honors at Kaplan University in 2014, also completing her Psychology degree with a concentration in addiction. Upon completing her formal education, Joyce served as a clinical supervisor at Blue Sky Counseling for five years, an addiction treatment center in Waterville, Maine. She gained valuable experience treating patients with drug and alcohol addiction and supervising staff that she brings with her to assist patients at Northwest Winds Recovery. Joyce maintains a professional affiliation with the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Counselors. In her spare time, Joyce enjoys traveling, cooking, and cross-stitching, along with spending time with her husband and three sons.
